Moving Tech Forward in PA
It has been over a year since the Shapiro Administration implemented (CODE PA) to improve online services for Pennsylvanians and streamline the way they interact with the Commonwealth online. What are the most up-to-date systems and how will--and do--automated systems like AI fit? What should we prioritize on, and what are best practices to advance? We will address the ways private companies are and can assist in bridging the technology gap and work to make these agencies stronger. And finally, we will discuss leveraging data to improve systems to better serve all Pennsylvanians including and most importantly, the underserved.

Modernizing and Protecting Pennsylvania’s Infrastructure
Even with the latest innovations in place, the infrastructure and technology used to keep PA cities and communities safe, healthy, moving and connected are never completely secure. For years the Commonwealth has worked to close its digital divide so all residents can get connected to affordable and reliable high-speed broadband internet at home, at work, or on the road while also keeping them safe and secure. This panel will discuss how government agencies are balancing digital vs. analog, securing broadband access, keeping our information private and how we can make our systems, transport, energy projects, education, work, rest and play--as safe as possible. We will discuss working together to build a more resilient infrastructure, including public safety services and other ways to improve responses to possible emergency situations.
